Alpha is a safe space to explore the big questions about life, purpose and the Christian faith. Alpha is for anyone and everyone - whether you consider yourself a skeptic, a seeker, a total atheist or just someone who just wants to understand who Jesus really was - you’re welcome. Alpha is free and everyone is welcome.
What to Expect at Alpha
Every Alpha session follows a simple format:
- Meal – Enjoy good food and connect with others in a friendly setting.
- Video – Watch a short video that explores key aspects of the Christian faith, such as "Who is Jesus?" and "Why and how do I pray?"
- Discussion – Join an open conversation where you can share your thoughts, ask questions, or just listen—there’s no obligation to speak.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to be a Christian to attend?
No! Alpha is for everyone, regardless of their background or beliefs. You’re welcome to come as you are, with whatever faith beliefs you have.
How much does it cost?
Alpha is completely free! Meals and drinks are all provided, so come hungry!
How long is Alpha?
We start Alpha with a one-off launch event - a casual evening enjoyed over drinks and food, including a brief introduction to Alpha. There is absolutely no obligation to continue if you decide Alpha isn't for you.
If you decide you would like to continue, Alpha runs for between 6-10 weeks, depending on how the course is structured.
